(Walking through the) Sleepy City

35.00 50.00

Originally drawn in white gel pen on black artist’s paper, this pays homage to a photographic negative.  The starkness of the white lines against the black invites you to explore the streets of New York City at sleep.

This cityscape has been selected to appear in a book by James Hobbs provisionally titled Pen and Ink to be published by Rotovision Books in the UK in June 2016.

The Rolling Stones album track (Walkin' Thru' the) Sleepy City from their 1975 compilation entitled Metamorphosis provides the reference for the name of this print.

Open Edition - 600mm  x 500mm.
